term "Free Ringtones". The only charge you pay
is that of your WAP service provider. The downloading of ringtones from our site can be done completely free of charge. |
| How do I get ringtone on my phone from your site? |
The most common method of downloading
a ringtone from our site is through our WAP
website. In order to access the WAP site you must have an internet enabled phone. If your phone has Internet/WAP
follow the steps below.
- Navigate your WAP browser on your phone to http://www.welltoned.com/wap
- Locate the input box that says "Enter your download ID" and enter the Download ID listed when you click on the
song title and select OK to submit the Download ID.
- You will then be prompted with a verification link, that says, "Click to download" followed by the song title and
the Artist name. Click this link.
- Immediately upon clicking the verification link, you should be prompted to save the ringtone.

| I'm receiving a "File Format Unknown" (or similar) error when
attempting to download a ringtone, why? |
In many cases, this is caused when the midi file is not compatible with your mobile phone. This can be caused by the following:
- Your network restricts the downloading of ringtones.Your network restricts the downloading of ringtones.
- The midi hasn't been optimized correctly (please contact us)
- The midi is too big to download.

| What if I don't have a WAP enabled phone? Can I still
download ringtones to my phone? |
It takes an additional step or 2, but the answer is yes, you can still get ringtones to your phone.
- When you click on a song title you're taken to a page where you can listen to the tone. At the very bottom of this page find where it says "Download Instructions". At the bottom of the download instructions, you'll see a line that says, "Wish to save this tone to your computer? Click here". By clicking on the "Click here" you will be prompted to save the ringtone in a zip file.
- Once you have saved the zipfile on your computer, you must unzip it using an unzipping program. (ex:
winzip,winrar, etc. (NOTE: If you are using Windows XP simply double click the .zip
file)
- Once you have unzipped the ringtone, on your computer, navigate your browser to
http://www.funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/uploadRingtone.php.
This site will allow you to upload ringtones
and have them sent directly to your phone by way of an SMS/MMS/Picture message, whatever the case may be.
- Enter in your phone number, chose your model number, and click on the browse button and locate the unzipped ringtone file.
- Last but not least, hit send, the ringtone should appear as a message on your phone. On your phone, (each phone varies) you should have some sort of extract option. Extract the sound and hit save, and walla, just like that the ringtone should be saved to your phone.

neat program called WebJal that is strickly for nextel phones that aids in uploading assorted files to your
phone. |
